Beckhoff CX7000 Embedded PC

The Beckhoff CX7000 is a cost-optimized embedded PC designed for edge computing and small-scale automation applications where space is at a premium. Despite its compact 69 x 100 x 57 mm form factor, it runs full Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or TwinCAT runtime for real-time control. The device features a dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, 1 GB RAM, and 4 GB eMMC flash storage. Dual Ethernet ports enable device-to-cloud connectivity with network separation, while the integrated EtherCAT interface allows direct connection to Beckhoff I/O terminals for distributed control. The CX7000 supports TwinCAT 3 programming for IEC 61131-3 languages, making it a bridge between traditional PLC programming and modern IoT edge computing.
