Moxa — Industrial PCs
The Moxa MC-1100 series is a purpose-built ARM Cortex-A9-based edge computer optimised for power-sensitive and space-constrained industrial communication applications. With typical power consumption below 10 W, it operates reliably in extended temperature environments from -40°C to +75°C, making it suitable for outdoor telecom cabinets, substations, and remote pipeline monitoring stations. The dual auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports support bridging and NAT functions, enabling the device to serve as both a data acquisition node and a network gateway for legacy serial devices. Pre-installed Moxa industrial Linux with support for Docker containers allows rapid deployment of custom edge applications, protocol converters, and cloud connectors without low-level embedded system engineering. The device's rugged metal enclosure with no moving parts and integrated DIN-rail clip provides Class 1 Division 2 certification for deployment in hazardous industrial locations where spark-producing conventional PCs cannot be installed.
