Schneider Electric — Variable Frequency Drives
The Schneider Altivar ATV340 is a performance-oriented variable-speed drive targeting medium-to-high-end applications in material handling, packaging, process industries, and heavy machinery. It employs Flux Vector Control without encoder feedback, delivering 200% starting torque and precise speed regulation across the full speed range. The drive includes a built-in dual-port Ethernet switch supporting EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP with automatic protocol switching. Integrated safety functions include Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1) certified to SIL 3. Advanced features include a programmable logic controller integrated within the drive, multi-pump cascading control, and a Web server for remote monitoring via standard browser.
