The Cisco Catalyst IE-3300 series is a ruggedized industrial Ethernet switch that brings enterprise-class networking features to the factory floor. It supports full Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 static/routed access capabilities with Cisco IOS XE software and DNA Center support for intent-based networking. Integrated cybersecurity features include Cisco Cyber Vision for OT network visibility, TrustSec for role-based access control, and MACsec encryption for Layer 2 data confidentiality. The modular uplink design supports dual Gigabit Ethernet or SFP+ fiber connections for high-speed backbone aggregation.
